The Great Seven are legendary beings who once existed in Twisted Wonderland. The seven dorms of Night Raven College are based on them.

  • The Queen of Hearts (ハートの女王, Hāto no Joō)
  • The King of Beasts (百獣の王, Hyakujū no Ō)
  • The Sea Witch (海の魔女, Umi no Majo)
  • The Sorcerer of the Sands (砂漠の魔術師, Sabaku no Majutsushi)
  • The Fairest Queen (美しき女王, Utsukushiki Joō)
  • The Lord of the Underworld (死者の国の王, Shisha no Kuni no Ō)
  • The Fairy of Thorns (茨の魔女, Ibara no Majo)

Statue Inscriptions

The statues erected of the Great Seven lining Night Raven College's Main Street are all inscribed with a small paragraph detailing their respective figure's good deeds and qualities. In-game, it is impossible to read all of the inscriptions due to the perspective of the background art in which they appear—however, in the Halloween 2021 Cluster Event, these statues were 3D modeled and all their inscriptions were made legible. All inscriptions were originally written in English.

The Queen of Hearts

"A queen who ruled over

a maze of roses
and brought
the rule of law
to a chaotic kingdom.
Under her strict leadership
no rose was off color,
nor was
any playing card soldier

out of step."

The King of Beasts

"Through grit and

this king of beasts overcame
his lesser claim of succession
to rule over a vast savanna.
He sought equality for
all creatures—
even those once banished

from the realm."

The Sea Witch

"A compassionate sea witch

who dwelled in a grotto
deep beneath the waves.
To repent
for past misdeeds,
she devoted herself
to helping troubled souls,
guiding even seemingly
hopeless romances

to a true happy ending."

The Sorcerer of the Sands

"A wise sorcerer of

a desert kingdom
who used his keen insight
to obtain a magic lamp
that granted him
great power.
He supported his king
by regularly offering
carefully considered

words of advice."

His 3D statue denotes him as 'The Sorcerer of a Desert Kingdom,' rather than 'of the Sands.' This is also somewhat visible in the background art for Main Street.

The Fairest Queen

"The fairest queen of all,

and one who was
always diligently striving
to better herself.
She utilized the powerful magic
at her command
to tirelessly pursue

her ideals."

The Lord of the Underworld

"The lord of the

Underworld, and guide
to the wandering souls
of the dead.
He carried out
his fearsome duties
with diligence and care,
motivating even the defiant

to offer their aid."

In the background art for Main Street, he is denoted as 'The God of the Underworld,' rather than 'Lord.'

The Fairy of Thorns

"A fairy who reigned over

a mystical mountain,
wielding magical powers
that included
mastery over storms
and thorns.
Proud and refined,
she cherished solitude
even as she commanded

her countless minions."

  • The Great Seven are based on famous Disney antagonists.
    • The Queen of Hearts is based on the character of the same name from Alice in Wonderland.
    • The King of Beasts is based on Scar from The Lion King.
    • The Sea Witch is based on Ursula from The Little Mermaid.
    • The Sorcerer of the Sands is based on Jafar from Aladdin.
    • The Fairest Queen is based on The Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
    • The Lord of the Underworld is based on Hades from Hercules.
    • The Fairy of Thorns is based on Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty.
  • In the prologue, Ace specifically states that the Thorn Fairy is from the Briar Valley. Though, in the localized version of the game, this is replaced by text from her statue inscription—
Ace instead says that she 'lived on a mystical mountain.'
